$10.00

This is yours free for your $10 Donation the Helping the Homies, a deposit fund to help Homeless in Ft Wayne pay the deposit on their housing, as well as the application fees and other expense's the FSSA has that keep a lot of very nice people on the streets. Its very difficult when you get down to get pack up. I know this because I am sitting i a hotel room right now, one that is not expensive but not cheap, and with a vehicle that doesn't work and having to rent a one to go to work, the combination of rent at $56 a day, a rental truck at $20 plus $1.20 per mile, a repair bill of over $1200 I am close $170 per day ($835.00 after taxes is $26/hr 40 hr) just to break even and without food or gas. Life goes on regardless, so you set your mind on Winston Churchill who said "When you're going thru Hell you don't stop"

The sticker is for all those who think homeless people are all addicts and won't work, seriously. Fuck off. This isn't me judging you - this is me saying i don't have time for you. I don't wish bad things for you or any of the like., I just know the only thing you'll understand is this, so fuck off. when i have some free time ill look you up.

This may have some merit somewhere, but not in this town. I've been everywhere, and the people who you think are here by choice of laziness and addiction are very few if any - I've not met a single one -  the few that fit the perspective are mentally challenged and for one reason or another have slipped thru the cracks of system abused but many for various reason of their own. I have learned and been humbled by this experience, there is a lot of very good people out there, some of the smartest and kindest people i have ever met I have met this past 18 months. It's for this reason I want to develop a fund to help those who like myself just need a break, one little break, to put things back upright. Until you are able to share your last cup of ramen with a person you don't even know and feel good because you know how it feels to be hungry - truly hungry -think twice before casting judgements.  Many people, and y0ou know who you are, are but 2 paychecks from being on the street. Mortgaged and all equity taken the minute it can be, 2 car payments and a insurance bill that makes them queasy, a tax return that sets the ship back up and prayer's every  night. I don't judge them, I can't. I don't know what demons they fight, or what joy they have that keeps them motivated. And I pray for us all. Just not one at a time. If you feel what I am saying beyond what you reads, please throw a dollar in the hat, it'll get used for the betterment of some very good people.
